i have about 40-50 pounds of banana from my trees in two bunches, i figure this is a good way to use them because i will never eat that many as they all ripen fairly close. can you ferment the peels and pulp and strain it out later?

Nicholas Wilson - July 12, 2013

is it one pound of sugar or one kilo of sugar you said both in the video.

taipaa001 - July 12, 2013

good good

NecipPerver - July 12, 2013

I can’t wait to try this looks like a superb idea. I’m wondering if blending the bananas would make any difference.

just started a batch, smells good but isnt a grey slop, i left to drain & the liquid looks lovley, its been vigerously brewing for 3 days & i have had to tip some out 🙁 & replace the airlock as i didnt leave enough room for the foam. i added 1 kg of sugar, not 1lb only because i made a different one the day before that used a kg so i thought whats the worst that can happen? cant wait until it is done, how long did u leave it in 2nd demijon for & how long did you leave it in bottles b4 drinking?

My banana is clearing nicely after 6 days. I racked into secondary on day 4. I dont have a hydrometer but the bubbles stopped. It’s clearing nicely. 28 days and I will be enjoying a nice home wine.

surgicaltremors - July 12, 2013

exactly what type of tea do i need to use.

inspirality - July 12, 2013

I have a similar recipe from a book called ‘First steps in wine making’ by CJJ Berry and he uses the juice of one orange and the juice of one lemon instead of the citric acid. You may be able to get a ‘jelly making’ bag from a cookery store.

scot max - July 12, 2013

Could you upload the plum wine

Mr420ways - July 12, 2013

insteadof a strainer use “cheese cloth”

scot max - July 12, 2013

Could you send me the recipe of this thanks

scot max - July 12, 2013

Hi like your vids could you do a vid of cider brewing

jacob cosare - July 12, 2013

Sir can I ask a question about your wine??

How many weeks is the Fermenting period of that?

Can I use 1 piece of lemon as an alternative for the Citric Acid?

In the Philippines I think there is no STRAINING BAG so can I use an Ordinary Strainer? sir? Thank You Sir 🙂
